How are you doing now? Interested to know if you managed to get back weight training again since the prolo? I had minor twinges in my SI for years, always resolved within a couple of days and never really knew at the time what it was (until recently!) ….while squatting back in June of this year something changed…permanent pain! Have tried all the dontingy si correction exercises but my right SI is completely unstable, it goes out 5-10 times a day, over the past couple of months my left (which was never an issue) seems to be compensating and that side is now causing issues.
Thinking what to do next! These SI issues are a nightmare! Hope things are better for you now!

I’m doing well thanks. I was able to continue weight training although I don’t do any kind of squatting and take it easy on legs in general. I’ve cutout overhead presses just to be safe and I think those do more damage than good anyhow.
If your injury is similar to mine, and it sounds exactly the same – I highly suggest you visit an Osteopath that is trained in Prolotherapy as well. As I state in my blog, there is only one way to heal a strained ligament and that is prolo.
Good luck!!
